Sunday May 29 Post 2

Got the tech issues resolved... yeah!

Can you guess which bridge this is?

Another clue...

Getting warmer....

Can you see the bridge on the left?

Bet you know now....

World Famous for art deco buildings...

Busy and crowded....
Still unsure?
OK, we DIDN'T leave our hearts there...
San Francisco!
We drove through the city and got to the wonderful bridge despite the crowds, construction, and congestion of confusion!  It was so very, very crowded (Memorial Day weekend!) we couldn't get to stop at the iconic view point to get the classic pictures.  Sorry folks, next year!

There are millions and millions of almond and other nut trees growing in the San Joaquin valley.  The valley is huge and full of all kinds of farms.

Yosemite!  Here Adriana at the western entrance to the valley.

Can you see the Bridal Veil Falls on the right... I know, the left side is much prettier!

You can see Bridal Veil just over Adriana's head.  Cool!

This is one of the guardian giants at the entrance, the rock, the rock!

Magnificent.

The granite wall escarpment the forms one side of the entrance.

Yosemite Falls!

Yosemite Valley and Yosemite Falls in it's full power and glory!

Yosemite Valley looking west

Two of the most beautiful creations of God!
Guess which one I love so much?!!!
Adriana wins over Yosemite Falls, anytime!

Yosemite Falls... the pictures don't do justice to it, since it was late spring and massive amounts of water was flowing, turning to mist before it hits the bottom!  Beautiful for sure.

Another white granite wall and Sequoia trees, yes, Sequoias grow in Yosemite Park

The road to Yosemite

Two lane road in the valley, rocks and high walls all around

Golden hills of California.

Well Family and friends, we made it to Beale AFB for Sunday night's rest, just east of Yuba City.  It's an adventure in itself!
More later.
We've got to get on the road... heading to Portland and Multnomah Falls awaits...
